Buttercream Frosting

This is a non-dairy version of classic buttercream frosting


1/2 cup margarine
2 cups confectioners sugar
1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
2 Tbsp soy milk
gel food coloring (as needed)


In a large bowl, beat the margarine until smooth.
Add confectioners sugar and beat until blended.
Add vanilla and soy milk.
Continue beating for several minutes until fully mixed and smooth.
Add food coloring as needed.
