About the Parsha
In Ki Tavo there is a description of the momentous event which was to take place at Mt. Grizim and Mt. Eival. The elders of the Levite tribe would stand between the two mountains, with the Holy Ark, and six tribes were stationed atop each mountain. The Levites and priests would face each mountain alternately, while stating the blessing and curses from Hashem (G-d).
About the Dessert
The two mountains are made of 2 cakes baked in oven-safe bowls. (I used a marble cake and a chocolate cake. Any kind of cake can work!)
When cooled, carefully turn the cakes out of the bowls.
Cover one cake with chocolate ganache (recipe here).
Use green buttercream frosting to cover the second cake (recipe here). Add flower sprinkles.
The labels marking Mt. Grizim and Mt. Eival were printed and taped to toothpicks.
