In Ki Tetzeh we read about the Mitzvah (commandment) of “Shiluach HaKen” – sending away the mother bird before taking her eggs/chicks.
About the Dessert
The bird and the eggs were made using cake pops.

The nest was made of a pile of chocolate-covered potato chip sticks. Not recommended – they did NOT taste good! I recommend making chocolate-covered pretzel sticks instead!
