About the Parsha
In Noach we are introduced to the phenomenon of the rainbow, which appeared in the sky after the flood. This was G-d’s sign of His covenant with Noach to never again destroy the earth.
About the Dessert
This is an Italian rainbow cake (recipe here).
I divided the batter into 5 parts (instead of the 3 in the recipe) to make the 5 rainbow colors and I used smaller pans (16X21 cm).
