Parsha Desserts

Each year, as we begin reading the Torah from the beginning (right after Sukkot), there is a trend among Jewish women to post pictures of “parsha desserts.” These desserts represent or depict key elements within the parsha (Torah portion) of the week. It is a great way to motivate and involve kids in learning and discussing the Torah as we progress through it each week.
This past year, I set out determined to make these themed desserts throughout the year. And, overall, I succeeded (except for a couple of weeks when personal issues took precedence and the dessert did not happen).
Here, I present pictures and descriptions of all our parsha desserts this past year.
I hope to add new ideas as we begin reading the Torah again this year!
