In Shmini we learn the laws of kosher animals. Land animals are kosher if they have split hooves and chew their cud.
About the Dessert
These “split hooves” are made of almond horns dipped in chocolate (recipe here).
Shape the cookies as instructed, making them wider at the top and split at the ends.
