Wild beasts
Affliction of cattle
Boils
Hail
About the Dessert
These were vanilla cupcakes, decorated with Royal Icing (recipe here). Each two cupcakes represents one of the plagues.
Blood: Coat each cupcake with white and red icing, in a swirl pattern.
Frogs: Coat each cupcake with green icing. When dry, use colored icing to make eyes (white, then add black dots), mouth (black), and tongue (pink). Use green candies (Skittles e.g.) for the ears on top.
Lice: Coat the cupcake with white icing. Add chocolate sprinkles while still wet.
Wild beasts: These tigers were made using orange icing, decorated (once dried) with eyes (white, then black dots), stripes (black), and mouth (pink). Use orange candies for the ears on top.
Affliction of cattle: Coat each cupcake with white icing. When dry, use black icing to make the eyes and the “cow spots,” pink for the nose, and red for the disease spots.
Boils: Coat each cupcake with white icing. Use red icing to make the spots.
Hail: Coat each cupcake with black icing (or melted chocolate). Use white candies (or white icing) to make the hail, yellow icing to make the lightning.
