About the Parsha
In VaYakhel the people are given instructions for building the Mishkan (the Tabernacle). The people donate materials, including gold, silver, copper, dyed wool, yarn, spun linen, animal skins, wood, olive oil, herbs, and precious stones.
About the Dessert
The base of this cake is brownies covered in a white glaze.
