About the Parsha
In VaYeshev there are descriptions of several dreams. First, Yosef (Joseph) tells his brothers about two dreams that he had. Later, in prison in Egypt, Yosef encounters the butler and the baker of Pharaoh. They each have a dream, and Yosef interprets them accurately.
These dreams are all pivotal points in the dramatic story of Yosef.
About the Dessert
In honor of all the dreams in this Parsha, we made something called “dream cookies,” or in Swedish, “Drömmar” (recipe here).
