About the Parsha
In VaYetze, Yaakov (Jacob) meets his future wife, Rachel, at a well. There is a large stone covering the well where the shepherds are gathering to water their flocks. Rachel brings her father’s sheep to be watered, and Yaakov (Jacob) rolls the stone off of the well.
