About the Parsha
In VaYikra we begin to read about the Korbanot – animal and meal offerings in the Mishkan (Tabernacle).
About the Dessert
The Mizbe’ach (altar) was made out of wafers, stacked to make a rectangular box. The wafers are stuck together and then coated with melted white chocolate chips. Another wafer was cut into small squares, which were placed on the 4 upper corners, and covered with melted white chocolate.
The carrying poles are two pretzel sticks, adhered using melted white chocolate.
The “offering” is a piece of bittersweet chocolate that has a cow embossed on it.
